She holds herself like a goddess - she, if it is not blasphemy to say, matches them in her beauty, in her elegance, in the pristinity her gentle smile overflows with. No one would be able to say for sure from where she came, if not descended from the Heavens, divinity become corporeal.

Her heart is a loving one, a kind one, a gentle one. Yet as it always is, this heart betrays a deeper soul, a past and a present but no future that she knows of. Sharper than her words is her mind; beneath the exterior of a deity lies the spirit of a battle tactician.

And a hardened one she is. The life of a soldier is a difficult one, but on his success in a battle there are only a few of his comrades’ lives to balance it out - if the strategist fails, however, many more lives are on that thin strand they suppose is a line. She refuses to speak a word about her past, but nothing is more clear that she has brought her fear from it along to the present.

Now it is those very same talents that her newfound clanmates admire - with grace she accepts those compliments, but somewhere behind those kind words, she hears voices of resentment, the despair of one who trusted too much and had died for it. And so, she dances it carefully: that thin string, waiting for a step that is bladed.
