Tyler

Some kids just never grow up and Tyler just happens to be one of those kids. Silly games bad jokes, getting into trouble, all of these things and more are his idea of fun. Turn your back on him for just a minute and he’ll manage to find some way to entertain himself or get himself into a risky situation, possibly both at the same time since he tends to be a bit of a daredevil. To him fun and danger are hard to tell apart until you get going and even then it’s all just a matter of perspective. For example, take him to the beach and he’ll set about going cliff diving, go for a walk in the woods and he’ll look for the tallest tree to try and climb it, find a cave and…well, you get the idea.

His childish outlook on life means that he’s very good with hatchlings. Tyler can spend hours on end with young Dragons without growing impatient or frustrated with their youthful antics. He will listen to their stories, play the games they want to play and generally treat them like equals. As such all the hatchlings of the clan love him and other Dragons are grateful to have him serving as a babysitter, since even if he can’t keep himself out of trouble, he’s amazing at keeping the hatchlings out of it and keeping them entertained at the same time. This is because as much of a joker as he can be, he knows that there are times where it is necessary to be serious and keeping hatchlings safe is most certainly serious business. He knows that since most of the hatchlings will leave the clan as they get older it’s important to value the time spent with them as much as possible.

When he’s not helping take care of hatchlings Tyler enjoys having fun with his friend Isaac the Wildclaw. The two of them can get into more trouble together than either one could manage separately and have enormous amounts of fun in the process. They both agree that anything worth doing is worth doing with a friend. Their favorite way to spend time together is to try and out do each other in acrobatic flying displays, seeing how far they can fall before needing to spread their wings to avoid hitting the ground, flying as close as they can to any obstacle they can find, spiraling through the clouds and looping upside down are all things they will do in the air. The whole time they’ll be playfully teasing each other and making bad jokes about anything and everything that comes to mind because that’s what friends are for, right?
