Maru is a delicate tea maker, using her gentle fire magic to craft excellent brews and to preform unexpected by useful healing techniques. She is exceedingly optimistic almost to the point where she can never quiet believe when something goes wrong but she isn't that easily deterred. Maru has an unbelievable complicity for empathy. Those who confide in her know that she knows their pain as if it were there own and are well comforted by her boundless compassion. As this is so Maru is considered somewhat of an emotional healer as well as a physical. And this is only extenuated by the homey welcoming energy of her lair, tea always brewing, dried flowers and herbs strewn arcoss the ceiling drying in the comfortable warm produced by her many stoves, a relief from the usual bitter cold of the clan's territory. Few dragons find them self unable to relax in her inviting and sincerely sweet presence, something she takes mild pride in. |
| Though she is skilled at helping others Maru tends to bundle up her own problems in favor of solving others'. She is incredibly sensitive. She weeps when flowers wilt and dying just as she blossoms with the new growths. She can hardly bear the thought of rejection a dilemma that has lead her to firmly ignore her feelings for her best friend Aromis, a flirty and affectionate dragon whom she knows everything about. |

The apparel helps the illusion that this dragon is right at home among silks and pillows and that she should just be one of those soothing dragons. For once Underbelly is a good idea it lets the pistachio be soft without being standing out from the belly like Glimmer or Capsule would.
