Conflicts of Interest As a guardian we're entitled to find our place in the world, but as Tidelord's direct descendants, many of us feel inclined to make something of ourselves, more than simply finding a mate. I have three other siblings. Three brothers and one sister. My sister was the only one of us that chose to stay within the darkness. I, on the other hand, chose to stay closer to the surface, there I could see the sky. Every now and then, I might even peak above water to smell the air above. I've created a home underwater, and claimed unwanted trinkets as my own. Dragons from above might drop them, or simply throw them away. This is the same for the dragons that sink within these waters. I claim them as my own, to create our own species of dragons, superior to those who live on land. I live to protect what my father created. The ocean conceals and nurture all things that can call it home. My sister and I may live in different parts of the ocean, but we both have similar ambitions, to show outsiders that the ocean is not what it appears. |
