The Aura of Hestia

Hestia's pure essence is contained within her two nocturne assistants Caduceus and Asclepius. This essence, containing the purest aura of an imperial oracle, can reverse the process of life and death. However, its strength allows it to become a powerful weapon in the wrong hands, capable of both destroying or creating Emperors. As such, the essence has only been used by Hestia three times:
  • Hestia first separates her magical essence from herself using powerful alchemy and spellwork in order to defeat and cure the Emperor she was once part of. The Society of Souls is then formed by her and the remaining imperials.
  • Hestia uses the essence to return a battlefield of lost spirits to the afterlife. This includes the parents of a pearlcatcher hatchling, Eris. Hestia raises her with the Society of Souls.
  • Hestia uses the essence to again cure an emperor, this time formed by a battle between Light and Earth. She then travels to Dragonhome to investigate the cause of its creation.
