Biography
|
The clan's move to Light has been the best thing that ever happened to him. He was able to do a significant amount to design and build the new compound, and multiple other buildings in clan territory. He's been able to find a willing, enthusiastic audience for his philosophical writings and poetry. He's surrounded by other dragons that actually like architecture, as opposed to "grudgingly tolerating it because the Ridgebacks will whine if they get rained on." There are so many museums here! And books! SO many books. It's like paradise. The only downside is that the old rivalry between Pearlcatchers and Imperials is alive and well here, and the Imperial faction is definitely in the ascendant at the moment. But perhaps, if Serendipity is truly taking the reins from her mother, she'll be more open to new influences than Serenade ever was... |

Clan buildings:
Primary compound: A walled complex housing the clan elders, the warriors and guards, and other families close to the elders; Herbert and his family, for instance, have homes in the compound. Any advisors from other flights will also be housed there.
Alchemy laboratory: Located away from any dwellings to protect against explosions, in the midst of a sunflower field (Serezha's choice.)
The library: Outside the compound, for easy access for visitors. They've collected enough artifacts and fossils that they're making plans to build a museum to house them.
