Hailing from the Fishspine Reef, Murdoc is a gentle, but ferocious caretaker of his allies. Feeling pressured to join the ranks of the Tidelord after many of his siblings had, he left home in shame, unwilling to exalt. Since then, he has found his home in the Wasteland, and protects the hatchlings of our clan, though he doesn't believe he has found his Charge yet.

He is the loving counterpart of Fedya. The two live in the Sanctuary Pool- a large basin of water in the Canyon carved out by the Sea of a Thousand Currents long ago. There they take care of orphaned hatchlings or other’s hatchlings in a sort of daycare setting. Murdoc plays with them and teaches them to swim and read, while Fedya trains them to fly and know basic self defence.

When they are not looking after the young, they are standing guard outside the Canyon or training in mock battles.
