Together with his partner, Ywen, Ilex nests as a limited edition once a year - all 2nd gen since both parents are gen 1. The hatchlings typically start at 100g or 100kt (gems preferred) and get more expensive if they have special eyes (primarily a steeper price for facet, multi-gaze, and primal sight). The hatch date is either for Yule (Dec 21st) or Christmas (Dec 25th) each year. The date defaults to Yule by my personal preference if no one puts in a request. Otherwise, the date is determined by the first person to request for that year.

Just in case, if you want to be put in the queue to pick a hatchling from their next nest, please list Yule, Christmas, or no preference regardless of whether or not you are first in line. If you see that the people ahead of you listed no preference and you have one, then you will get to pick your preferred date for the next nest if there are enough eggs to secure you one.

Hatchlings don't need to be paid for until they're ready to go home with you. Please give them a name within the first month to prevent my dragons' progeny list from having unnamed babies in an abandoned lair.

If they're on the auction house they are first come, first serve.

You can sign up for their pinglist without making any commitment to pick a date.

If you do make a reserve, please be aware that there may not be enough eggs for everyone.

The list will be first requested, first to pick, all others will be offered the chance to stay on the list until next year's Yule or Christmas if there were not enough eggs for everyone in the queue.

If you make a reserve for a Holiday 2021 hatchling, I will check with you again closer to the date to make sure you're still around and interested. I will give you a week to respond if you picked a Christmas hatchdate. If I don't hear back from you, the list may default back to Yule. I may give you more than a month to make arrangements for your hatchling afterward so long as we're communicating. Two weeks of silence may see you losing your spot in the queue.

Note: Yule is preferred since it's also the winter solstice in my area and I have eventual plans to center the pairing and lore theme around the promise of steadily longer days, more light (and hope) ahead of this longest night. The colors of Yule in pagan observances include red, green, gold, white, silver, yellow and/or orange. I will consider other holidays around the same time of year, but I am also aware these dragons aren't the typical colours for holidays like Kwanzaa (I'm given to understand this is red, green and black) and Hanukkah (given to understand they should be blue and silver in that case). You're not disincluded for sure, just not sure how interested you'd be in these colours?
