Zealous recruited Dianthus during the group's first ever recruitment initiation, there were seven originally. However, during one of the initiation rituals, six of the seven caught a deadly plague and died as a result, leaving Dianthus to be the only remaining survivor of the group. It was later discovered that she had antibodies which could combat plague diseases.

Dianthus is regarded as a newbie in the Assassin game, yet she is very well liked amongst the older members as she is quite charismatic. Dianthus prefers to use poison in her methods of assassination rather than knives, often saying that they were "too messy" and that "poison get's it done quicker and more effectively," which she isn't wrong.
