This is a spawn of Treesnek. Are you sure it was a smart idea to bring it into your lair?

Viridis is defective.

His whispers are just him speaking quietly, he's scared of the dark, and he trips over everything. Not exactly the terrifying treesnekling they were half expecting.

Gwenyth had accepted the young spiral in good faith, ignoring Nita and Nightshade's protests. Something was just wrong with this spiral. Either he was pulling a long con and was the best actor the clan had ever seen, or he was just genuinely non threatening.

Viridis didn't think so. If he was defective, he was so from the moment he was born. His siblings made him nervous and he had become more and more ashamed as his whisper gift wasn't terrifying or mysterious. Getting the letter to go was almost a relief and he had jumped on it. Within days, he was on the ship and in space.

Okay he totally was not avoiding his other brother, as friendly as they seemed to be. And those other spirals, though Mimoza seemed quieter than her sibling.

Haha, his safety inspector job just kept him really busy.
