A young Imperial with grand aspirations, Mauram has a way with getting people to side with him. In fact, while he may be known as someone to fear among the darker communities, Mauram holds a level of charisma that leaves folks agreeing, or at least, conceding. His suggestions are logical, clever, perhaps unconventional.
It only helps that he’s quite the handsome fellow, in a way. What one would expect from someone associated with sunlight itself, in the heat of a summer afternoon. Folks are so much more... willing to follow you, if you’re attractive in some manner.
For those who work in shadows, Mauram is called the Sun Devourer -(or, sometimes, the Sun Killer)- when they do not wish to speak his name, for fear of him appearing behind them.
And to a degree, these superstitions are worth adhering to. A dragon who speaks his name with no reverence, no respect, in an ill manner, would surely fall out of favor with him and those who’ve given their loyalty to him, should he find out. Curse his name, when he is present without your knowing, and you will surely face the Sun Killer in his full glory.
He rather likes the title they’ve given him - a healthy amount of fear, among respect and loyalty, never did much wrong. He’ll treat you well, protect you, so long as you don’t fall out with him...
And should you, well...
Perhaps you’ll know the heat of his hand on your throat, the burn of what feels like coals on your tongue, or perhaps a warning, near blinding light that dims your vision for the next week. Perhaps he’ll mark you, in some manner. And should you truly displease him, should you go against him, break your word, and remain defiant... Perhaps he’ll take your life.
