After hatching from an egg made of aged paper and the sands of time, History wandered through the ages and found purpose in obtaining knowledge of everything the world had to offer. She traveled each flight's land countless times in search for a complete understanding of how the world came to be or to keep up to date with new advancements in modern technology. When she met Yuran during one of her journeys, History decided to make the Sunbeam Ruins her home -- the place she belonged and could return to after another adventure. The couple later created an unnamed village with other clans to bring together and welcome dragons of all eleven flights who wished to stay or visit. It has since become a peaceful, yet interesting place that is separated from elemental skirmishes; a neutral zone of sorts. Not long after its creation, Yuran and History nested a clutch of eggs. Each of their three hatchlings took after History's obsession with learning, though to different degrees. Maron is the most like her, seeking information in all fields of interest to benefit her clan, the Hearthglow Clan, in the Ashfall Waste. Kaime is seemingly more focused on research and has the role of archiving major events like her other sister, Rubble. Rubble ended up staying in the village with History and Yuran to keep records of dominance battles that their clans were involved in along with Maron's son, Verhaal, who assists her with archiving Light-specific dominance efforts. History hopes for that duty to continue being passed along to the successive generations in her bloodline.

History loves learning and is often seen reading up on various subjects. Her library includes books like "Dragon Biology: How Elementals Work," myths and folkore, as well as scientific theories and research. Because she's so studious, History often loses track of time. She'll block out all noise and read until she falls asleep only to wake up and read some more. Njordr helps her be a little healthier by cooking her meals, telling her to go to sleep, and helping her clean house whenever he visits (which is regularly now that he sees how she lives). History's thirst for knowledge does not stop at books, however. She is very active in learning how machines operate, the properties and ingredients of medicines, new techniques in making clothes, etc.
