Ivory was always different from her family. Hatched and raised in the Starlit Strand, she was an Arcane from the very beginning. Her family was close knit and everyone fended for each other. However, she was more of a leader, and the generations of family before her disproved of one of their children to think of control.

When she came of age she split off, something that was rarely done in her family. They bid her farewell as she set off for the Crystalspine Reaches. Once there, she found an area perfect for her and the Arcanist approved, so she began her den. It was perhaps a bit more decorated than necessary, but this caught the attention of a traveling Tundra named Deadtree.

Now Ivory, being naturally suspicious of everyone, had him prove himself before allowing him in. He did so in a duel, where their skill matched each other perfectly; his in brute strength and speed, hers in the arcane arts and agility. Ivory accepted him, and soon they fell in love and became mates, creating their own clan.

Soon enough the pair had a clutch of three. As Ivory guarded and incubated the eggs, Deadtree explored and battled foes. On one of his expeditions, he found two Faes, a Light and an Ice, both weary and near death. When he brought them back, Ivory quickly interrogated them. Although the Light one was too traumatized to speak, the Ice dragon, who called herself Crystal, claimed they'd been attacked by Beastclans on the way. Once healed, they also proved their worth as huntresses and magicians.

On Deadtree's expeditions, he kept coming back with abandoned hatchlings, and right on time for their clutch to hatch. All three were Tundras, which Ivory was a little disappointed about. An ambassador dragon from an ally clan came with a fae hatchling, saying they couldn't care for them at the moment and entrusting them in the care of Ivory and Deadtree.

And that's all that's happened to her until now. She lives peacefully with her clan, but that may change...
