The Wright is his title, but his name is his own business. The Wright's magic is powerful, but it makes him sickly. To strengthen others comes at the cost of his own strength.

Wright possesses no traditional healing magic, though he is a trained healer in the practical sense, but he can speak to and sometimes, with great effort, revive the dead. A few times, he's demonstrated another ability: taking away the pain of others by taking it upon himself. However, this won't heal the injury!

When he has a better handle on his emotions, his magics work on command. But in a time of crisis, if he can't keep his head on straight, they sometimes fail him.

His lair is a complete depression pit. But it always smells like burning herbs, slightly charred and sweet.



When the Wright was most lost in his despair, he successfully reanimated a mythically powerful sorceress, Salome. She was angry at first to be disturbed -- but as she began to understand that he was wracked with grief and not in his right mind, she slowly took pity on him. In time, as his state improved and she began to see glimmers of his true nature, his devotion and a touch of mad genius, she developed a respect for him rivaling the admiration that caused him to revive her. Salome, who had been alone in her lifetime, discovered that someone so single-minded made an extraordinary friend.

The Wright had a fraternal twin called the Corsair. Supposedly, there was a triplet, but in the womb, he and his sister consumed it.

The Corsair was possessed of an impatient temperament. She died in a squall with a neighboring clan. The devastated Wright attempted to reanimate her but failed.

The twins never quite learned how to socialize with any dragons besides each other. Wright is hindered by this today, and as a result is quite lonely.
