Amelie commands the Lavaburst Clan's scouts. Carefully, she assigns their teams to trade routes and borders. She has them accompany merchants and dragons of the like and survey enemy camps from afar. "if i let you use my heart that means you’re special. but just because you’re special doesn’t mean you get to take advantage; never be afraid to guard your heart from those who look to have a good time and leave, even if they’re special." Amelie's soft coloring might lead most to believe that she's a gentle, timid Skydancer, but they could not be more wrong. She is a commander, able to bend her scouts to her will with ease. She makes every move with precision and grace and seldom makes mistakes. Other - Character Traits: Hardworking, Resilient, Is rough around the edges, Mysterious, Antagonistic, Emphatic, Attentive, Intelligent, Imposing, Beautiful, Vain - Sin vs. Virtue: Wrath/Charity - Amelie feels no need to be involved in any type of romantic relationship. - Foestalker is part Nocturne and part Skydancer. She shares all of her genes with both parents and breed with her father. - Likes: Roses, Picking Flowers, Diplomacy, Lights, Writing, Dancing, Coffee Shops, Tea - Dislikes: Arguing, Loud Noises, Fighting, Peaches - Secret(s): It is a mystery to all as to why Amelie works as hard and as fiercely as she does. - According to the Sornieth Floriography Guide, Blue Parrot Tulip stands for admiration and accomplishment. - Her flutterbun is named Rose Gold. She is very shy, but won't hesitate to attack anyone who tries to hurt Amelie. They are very close, due to the fact that the Skydancer took her in when they were both very young. - Scholar's Apprentice - Amelie is thought to be very beautiful. She has won herself a number of male admirers as well as a female one. - If two dragons were to engage in a fight, she would probably go up to them and have them reach a compromise. However, if two of her scouts got into a fight, it was probably her who staged it. She probably had heard rumors of a scout hiding a mysterious object, so she had gone to check it out while everyone else was distracted. - She has the ability to study her opponent's moves and proceed to counter them in a fight. - Amelie used to want to be an adventurer, but found her place in studying maps and trade routes. - Like all Skydancers, Amelie can pick up magical energy with the orb on her forehead. Amelie has mastered this skill and can pick them up from longer distances. Her range is roughly a mile. - Amelie's admirers include Snowdrift, Starglider, Vitra, Kaiden, and Hiranya. - Amelie used to work as an assistant to Kaiden and the other strategists, but has now reached a rank that equals his in power. They still talk and are actually close friends. They go to each other for advice. - She admires Vitra's magic and has asked him to perform his spells for her so she can study them. Origin Story Amelie was born to a strict family. Her mother was a dancer who would frequently hold parties and act as a hostess and her father was known in all the Labyrinth as a brave adventurer. He was almost never home, but had prepared for her rigorous training and studying so that she'd grow to be as strong and amazing as he was. Failure was not tolerated in her family. She began to fear it, for what would her parents do? Her mother would mostly show her off to guests she entertained. "Look at my daughter." She said. "She is smart and beautiful and the most perfect thing in the entire world." Her mother made sure that she fit up to that standard. By the time she was grown, Amelie had enough. She fled her home. Almost immediately, she happened upon a city in the Wispwillow Grove known as the Shadowhome. The Shadowhome was home to a wide variety of dragons. There were musicians, dancers, bakers, and scholars... All sorts of dragons that could be who they wanted. Amelie took an apprenticeship under a scholar after he had taken her in. He taught her many different things... Magic, the art of literature, botany, and history. She was pleased by the fact that he never pushed her too hard. In her studies, she learned of commanders and heroes in Sornieth's history. She found herself wishing to be at the helm with dragons obeying her every word. Amelie would excel in her studies. Her mentor would die four years after she began her apprenticeship. She was notably distraught, but she couldn't let it distract her. She left the Shadowhome and wandered until she found Lavaburst City. There, she would study even more. Amelie acted as an assistant to the strategists, Askook, Kaiden, and Hellcaller. She would write down their plans and used it as a way to learn how to be a leader. She would even help them develop their plans. Askook and Hellcaller were fond of her, telling her that she was bright and had a lot of potential. Kaiden both envied and admired her, but felt that because they were roughly the same age that he couldn't voice it. One day, the scoutmaster would die mysteriously. Askook and Hellcaller both pushed her to take his place, which she did. This angered the scouts, who felt that one of them should have lead, as Amelie had never acted as a scout before. She, however, had a natural prowess for leadership and managed to win their respect and trust.
