 Storm is a Pearlcatcher of few words. He was born a loner and raised by his mother, a Ridgeback. He had no siblings and as such never learned to get along with others his own age. Whenever he came in contact with other dragons he would usually say something dumb and get beaten up, therefore he became a mute and refused to speak. He met his Duskthicket Bonepicker friend, whom he named Theo, while out, and the two became inseparable. One day he trespassed on Violet's territory and, after explaining in as few words as possible, he was permitted to stay the night. When he saw how lavish the leader, Violet, was, he became lovestruck. He ended up deciding to stay and Violet agreed, secretly harboring feelings for him as well. The two ended up spending more time together and he came out of his shell, and eventually they became mates. They had three children, two dying as newborns and one leaving when she had reached adolescence. Storm is fully aware of Violet's past, and made it his lifelong goal to keep her happy, and prevent anymore heartbreak for the love of his life.

He refuses to talk to anyone aside from Violet and Theo, and occasionally Midnight. He'll just sort of grunt or gesture with his claws if he needs to acknowledge someone but otherwise he'll just ignore you or stare at you. He isn't great at fighting, but he is an expert at catching insects and foraging for plants.
