Though her parents made home in the Windswept Plateau, BlackGhost was given her eyes in the Shifting Expanse. Her mother had business connections in the Tempest Spire, traveling there occasionally for work. Thus when BlackGhost was old enough she traveled to the Tempest Spire to work as a mage. Unfortunately, something happened there that she does not wish to speak upon and thus was cast to the streets without a single gem to her name. She found work and companionship in one of city gangs, stealing to eat and treasure to keep. It was during one of those illicit activities, she snatched a Guardian scroll. Sick and tired of ills of her this life she used the scroll to find a new meaning in her life.

Her Search would lead her through the perilous Carrion Canyon and Highland Scrub, fighting nature, dragons, and beastclan kind. It was at the Fallen Star Fort that she met her mate, CrownOfThorns, and her Charge, SeaQueen, -though the former took awhile for her to trust and the later required she her earn her confidence. Her history and travels have left BlackGhost a cautious and resilient dragoness. She is quiet, some may say shy, but has a temper and can be assertive when agitated.

And while she is not exceptional at physical fighting, her magic is adeptly controlled and she is willing to fight dirty to save her Charge and mate. Her mate and her share the ability of limited telepathy, and an ability also passed to their Charge. To keep up with her Charge during travel BlackGhost has ability of “Flash Step” allowing her travel great distances with a bolt of lightning, though the magic is very draining. She typically uses Thorn's Hawksbill Goliath to travel to avoid wasting magic unless something arises that requires such swiftness.
