Gay 		Like his only clutch sibling, Vann was born during Rockbreaker's Ceremony in a temporary settlement where his parents had found refuge - banished from their home territory, the pair had wandered until they had to stop to lay a nest. The runaways found a new home in a clan that happened to be on a years-long pilgrimage to the Pillar of Eternity, in Dragonhome.

This is the environment he grew up in - a nomadic group far away from home in a strange yet familiar world. He was raised communally along with other clan hatchlings; while his parents loved him very much, they had just lost their previous clutch and seemed emotionally unable to attend to the needs of another nest so soon. Thus both mothers remained distant, and when the year came for the clan to move back to the Sunbeam Ruins, the siblings decided to not follow them - and their own journey began.

Vann's dual elemental heritage, being a child of Fire born in the Earth lands, gave him a particular affinity for jewelcrafting, working with precious stones and incorporating them into intricate jewelry. [wip]
