Hesper’s second in command, Clarke serves as an Enforcer for the clan as well as being the leader of the Wildclaws of the clan, which have set themselves up as a sub-clan with their own rules and ranks, as Hesper allows of course. Clarke may be fierce and savage, but she is not stupid and knows what will happen if she were to cross her leader. For this reason she accepts that Myrkvi, despite being a Wildclaw, is outside of normal ranks due to her status as Zulu’s hunting partner. She also knows to restrain her desire for violence where members of the clan are concerned. Instead any aggression she might have is turned towards those who she regards as weak. In her mind the weak are nothing more than prey and the purpose of prey is to be hunted and consumed by the strong.

Her world view may be simplistic and savage, but it serves her well in the dangerous lands that the clan calls home. The Scarred Wasteland is no place for the faint of heart and there is little room for mercy or anything that could be construed as weakness. As such Clarke is a survivor strong enough to make the Plague Mother proud, doing everything that must be done to ensure the survival of her clan and taking great pleasure in dealing with those too weak to be worthy of life. Even her appearance reflects this, wearing leather bands made from the hides of great beasts that she has killed and adorning herself with decorations made from the bones and feathers of the monstrous, mutated birds that prey on the equally horrific things that live in the lands between the Rotrock Rim and the Wyrmwound itself. One look at her and you will know that she is no mere brute, for it takes great cunning to hunt such fearsome prey.[/size][/color]
