Hisana ??? Compassionate | Familial | Generous Some say if you wander Kronyx's lands late at night you'll come across a ghostly kitsune shrouded in mist who walks the forest looking for her missing children, some say that her children were stolen from her and that's why she haunts the forest looking for those who took her small hatchlings. Others say that if you watch the mist that shrouds her closely, you'll see a bigger, larger kitsune following her in the mist, a terrifying creature that towers over the small one, as if a guardian. In truth, the ghostly kitsunes do exist, wandering the Kronyx land at night, yet they aren't simply ghosts of traveler's halucinations. Yukio and Hisana live together in an old hollowed dead tree on the edge of Kronyx's lands. Both mates from the distant land of Remnant, having spent their early years together being hunted by other dragons for their appearance, even after Hisana was to have kits, a start to their new life together, Yukio and Hisana were relentlessly chased until they reached the Shadow lands, only to be chased further and further. Finally their pursuers had cornered the small family, the parents forced to watch their children be ripped away from them, three disappeared into the crowd while the other three had life violently taken from them. Satisfied with their actions, the crowd left as Hisana wailed for her lost kits as Yukio held her close to him. Hisana never fully recovered from the loss of their kits, while she was able to ease her pain over time, it didn't keep her from patrolling around their home in hope that one day her children would return to her. Yukio often joined her on her walks, that was how the pair met Ortoros and his mate. Despite her past, Hisana had a history of being compassionate and upon hearing the couple's tales, wished them all the best, although she understood her mate's caution. After helping to ease her mate's worries about the new clan settling in, Hisana frequented the new clan to offer her help where it was needed, that was where she met the couple Nivur and Zerlia, they were planning to start an orphanage and kindergarten. Excited at the prospect of little hatchlings running around the clan, Hisana offered to help find little ones in need, after that, Nivur and Zerlia never saw Hisana again. Yet, on some days the couple does find hatchlings showing up at their doorstep, often saying they were brought by a beautiful kitsune shrouded in mist. Since Ortoros was the only one who truly knew of their existence, Yukio and Hisana faded into legend, becoming stories told by campfires of those who wander close to the land. "Watch where you go and beware the snow, else you'll anger the mother and judge. If you don't have pure of heart they'll steal you in the dead of night." |
