After leaving his home clan, Rigel struck out on a journey of self-discovery and instead met Xenith, the eccentric Spiral who had recently found home with the Arcana, where she also brought him after rescuing him from a rather precariously balanced battle. A deeply loyal individual, he has stayed ever since, taking up the role of a knight and protector and doing a majority of the hunting for the rest of the clan's members. He is also a trainer, helping exalts-to-be strengthen their skills before they are sent on their way.

Rigel is quiet, stoic, and deeply individual, rarely striking up conversation with people he doesn't already know, and sometimes coming off as rude or indifferent to others. In reality, he cares very deeply for each and every one of his clanmates -- but is sad, too, with so many in his charge leaving after so short a time; even his own children have never stayed.

Now somewhat more somber than simply quiet in his old age (being the eldest dragon in the entire lair - older even than the progenitors), Xenith has taken up the mantle of trainer to give him a much-needed break from fighting. He can occasionally be found letting loose and taking part in the clan's various festivities, playing with the cats, or helping out in the kitchens. He still goes out daily to gather food for the clan and tend to their gardens.
