Schism has had a pretty rough life. He was found near-zombified in a glacier during one of Ahriman's research expeditions. If it wasn't for his twitching and staring eyes, he would have never been noticed. While he hadn't become an emperor, the imperial lost most of his memories and willpower, alongside having grown some extra limbs. It took all of the strongest Guardians in the clan just to drag him home.

When the Refuge thawed him out and gave him free rein, his hard-working spirit returned, and he now thoroughly enjoys getting to teach youngsters vital survival skills. He still has trouble when it comes to his temper, though, and is easily provoked into lashing out at others. Sheer size still makes him a force to be reckoned with, and everyone tries their best to avoid letting him by seen by outsiders.

If all else fails, he's the last line of defense.
