BACKSTORY

Moon is the healer of the clan. Born in the Beacon of the Radiant eye and sold to the Kagenami as a hatchling, Moon grew up around Panorgo, the former head scientist, and became interested in his experiments. This led to her intensive studies in the various plants of Sornieth, including the discovery of a green pigment in certain plants and animals that causes an illness in various breeds of dragons. During her studies on ice plants, she took a trip to the Fortress of Ends, and stumbled upon a trading outpost. There, she found an ancient ice runestone, said to have belonged to the Icewarden himself. Upon touching it, her whole body slowly began turning to ice. Barely being able to return home, Panorgo was able to return her eyes to their natural color, and made her a bracelet so she would not freeze completely, although the outside of her body was now permanently frozen.

While on a trip to the Starwood Strand she met a young fae named Magic. She brought him back to the clan, where he was welcomed with open arms. As time went on, she grew attached to him, and the two fell in love. Her and Magic had several nests, each producing beautiful hatchlings. That was when Magic decided he wanted to become a nocturne like Moon. With Panorgo's help, Moon was able to find an ancient scroll that could change Magic's breed. Using the scroll, Magic was turned into a noctourne, and him and Moon had another nest, but instead of faes they got a full nest of nocturnes. The two remain with each other to this day, with Magic helping Moon with her studies, and Moon helping Magic with his research on dragon genetics.
