Bit by a gem-cobra of some sort early in life, little Drig experienced an outbreak of Gembond that stuck with him even after he grew into adulthood. As a hatchling, he was quite physical and liked to solve problems with claws and flame. Khrath naturally approved, but over time it's turned into a sort of brutishness coupled with a wry mind that the leader feels the need to keep close tabs on... preferably without Drigereth noticing. Unfortunately, he's got an idea of his father's hesitancy toward him and seems to play roles accordingly. Drig keeps his cards close to his chest, and what he's thinking or planning is anyone's guess.

Despite any trepidation regarding his character or intent, he is a capable warrior and does his father proud in that regard. He currently commands a squadron of his own and is fast approaching another promotion after a heated battle at the southern chasms. His prowess has not gone unnoticed, and seems to have attracted the attention of Akhurkest. The two are seen talking amongst themselves with increasing frequency these days, though what the subject matter may be is also unknown.
