Biography

pUajRie.gif Jotaro
Bard
Relaxed | Charismatic | Impulsive

Born a unique and odd breed known as a Kitsune, Jotaro grew up in the frigid cold of the Fortress of Ends to his father Duviing and mother Zira. From a young age, the small nine tailed Kitsune would follow his father into the night and sit next to him as he looked up to the stars for his divinations. Jotaro would sit at his father's side and stare up into the sky, confused as to just what his father could actually see among the twinkling lights in the darkness above. Duviing always tried to help Jotaro to understand with gentle encouragement and kind words, but what Jotaro saw was far different from his father. Wisps of stories told by fires, folk tales and lovely songs all floated along the sea of stars, carried by the wind's whims all right to his perked ears and bright eyes. The small kit could see stories written between the stars and twinkling lights as he exclaimed his findings to his father, Jotaro was ecstatic to finally be able to see something in the stars just as his father could. The small kit began accompanying his father dutifully each night to record the lovely sounds and words he saw, whenever his father would go the small kit wouldn't be far behind, ears perked excitedly clutching a journal close to his fur. In the best scribblings the kit could manage, Jotaro noted down the stories and notes he saw, always returning from a nightly visit with new songs scrawled across the aged pages of his leather bound journal.

As the kit grew older he would practice his singing using the songs he'd seen by spending time with the young hatchlings of their clan, helping them to find peaceful sleep by singing them to sleep with the songs of old and tales he'd seen. But as he grew, Jotaro found he wanted to expand his craft, not just with the songs he'd sing but instruments to accompany it. But, that wasn't enough for Jotaro. Impulsive as the young Kitsune was, Jotaro wanted to see the world to start expanding his craft further, deciding on a whim to pick up his things and start a journey of his own, thanking his parents for all they'd done for him.

Now Jotaro finds himself in Kronyx Highlands, deep in the Shadow Flight after countless years of traveling, as he follows his way through the stars. The young Kitsune wanders from the village each night to see the stars just as he did in his homeland, only for the stars to lead him to another Kitsune much like himself. Surprised, Jotaro tried to strike up a friendship only to be surprised by her enthusiastic questions about their supposed homeland, he explained he was born here but his father knew things about the land they came from. Through her he came to understand that there was a world beyond what he knew and just how deep their culture truly went. Not only did he learn more things from his new companion, he found that new songs traveled to him, ones from across the seas from the land his kind came from. Each night he traveled out to the groves to meet with his new companion to understand her more before finally inviting her back to his humble cottage in Kronyx, excited at her eager acceptance.

Although his wanderlust has passed, Jotaro is still slightly impulsive, surprising his lover at every turn with lavish gifts that perhaps the Kitsune could only barely afford, always making split decision purchases on a whim. Although his impulsiveness often gets him scolded by Eria, he finds comfort in her company and the love she gives to him and the craft she perfects. Now he travels out into the night with a new companion as he sings to the stars with the comfort of his love.
