Biography

His name means "amethyst"!
Neheq was born from one of the abandoned eggs you find in the coliseum or scavenging, only no one found his egg. He hatched alone in the Shrieking Wilds, terrified and alone. With no one to teach him the proper one, he created his own language as he grew and journeyed into the Everbloom Gardens. This kept him away from other dragons, despite his greatest wish being to never be alone, to have a family. While making himself a lair, his mate Hêrsbû came upon him. She wasn't afraid of his strange words, and quite forcefully moved into his lair with him, teaching him her language and learning his as well. It was only natural that he fell for her. Hêrsbû loved him enough to bring back orphaned tundras, and his greatest wish was realized - he had a family. Now Neheq is the leader of his and Hêrsbû's clan. He stays at home, watching over the lair and the children, as Hêrsbû roams about being a mirror. All dragons in the lair are named using his language - each name has a meaning unique to the dragon. He adores flowers and hatchlings. He loves to garden, and can frequently be found maintaining the clan's massive flower garden. He also comforts the orphaned hatchlings that the mirrors occasionally bring back, letting the babies cry into his thick floof. He is well loved, and has all the things he could have ever wished for.
Note: Neheq's language is a real life language! Please don't use Google translate to reverse engineer the language and figure out which one it is. If you want to know, please contact me with a guess! I'll confirm or deny it, and if you guess right I'll probably give you some kind of award (I don't actually have anything right now). Using Google translate is cheating. If you speak this language in real life and recognize it, please contact me! There are some names I'm not 100% sure about their pronunciation, and getting a native speaker's feedback would be great!
