» A reserved Tundra born in the heated lava pools of the Ashfall Waste. He tends to keep to himself and stick to his studies instead of mingle with other dragons.

» Maru may come off as a bit rude with his lack of talking, but it is mostly due to his poor social skills.

» He studies Fire Flight magic in much of his time. Learning how to control the destructive flames that consume anything and anyone in their path has been a goal of his for a long time.

» While experimenting with spells, he discovered how to summon tiny fire wisps. They mainly act curious, and rarely literally burn things. Thus he keeps them around often. He wonders if these wisps are souls of once living dragons or anything of the sort.

» Maru can engulf his mane into a raging fire to protect himself if need be. Or coat his entire body in flames, although that requires more magic energy.

» He can also control whether or not a fire can actually harm a person. Causing the otherwise dangerous life-eating light to merely give off warmth.
