Mate: Sapphire
Oceanhunter, despite his name, absolutely hates water. On the rare treats when Uncle Bahram and Aunt Lyra take them out to play, he makes sure to stay far away from the Driftwood Drag's shore, nestled up against Dad as he reads his storybooks and practices his numbers. When he's not, he likes to visit Periwinkle and Netherwind's kids, especially Sapphire, and run around playing tag with her until he's out of breath. It's a nice, happy life. He hopes things will always be like this.
Life is good! Oceanhunter has friends and family, food and shelter, entertainment and, in his love Sapphire, companionship. He walks around the tunnels of the lair, looking for ways to expand it without causing collapse, and she often joins him. They sit outside on the Driftwood Drag's beach and stare into the murky waters, his wing over her.

It's a beautiful, simple life.
Wispwillow Grove is further from the water than Driftwood Drag. And thank goodness! No more worrying about falling into the murky river; the nightmares he's had about that!

The new lair doesn't need to be 'expanded' in the traditional sense; it's a cave system carved into the land's bedrock. But that doesn't mean all of it is safe, and Oceanhunter spends a lot of his time figuring out how to reinforce the dangerous areas to expand the clan down into it. After all, they're still growing, and it doesn't look like they'll be stopping any time soon.
