Biography
Clarissa was the child of a royal family, but when her mother passed away, her father was driven mad by her death and treated Clarissa cruelly. She ran away, leaving behind her title and fortune, and begged for asylum from Matriarch Marlys and Typhos. They gave her asylum on one condition: that she must dedicate her time in the clan bequeathing her noble's education to the clan's hatchlings.
Her engagement to Fickleclaw came as a surprise to everyone in the clan. Fickleclaw has none of the refinement that Clarissa radiates in waves, but once their eyes are opened to the reality of their relationship, no-one in the clan could deny how they looked most comfortable with each other. Clarissa's manners are softened by Fickleclaw's warmth, and Fickleclaw became better at interacting with people outside his familiar dens. They went everywhere together.
On the day of their binding, Fickleclaw presented Clarissa with a set of jewelry he made himself as a binding gift. Clarissa told him, face wet with tears, how they reminded her of her mother's jewelry that she had to leave behind when she ran away from her father.
As she twirls around, donning her precious ornaments, Fickleclaw tells her she glitters in the sunlight.
She laughs and laughs.
