Portent stumbled into the territory of Per Ardua Liberi horribly lost, unable to fly due to injury, and half-starved after a storm when he barely half grown. Almost literally tripping over the second of a double kill that Harbinger had made the poor young male tore into it to sate his stomach without really thinking about it. At least until Harbinger reappeared, looking rather severe and to the uninitiated Portent seeming to quite live up to her nickname of "Red Skull Demon". She was more forgiving than he'd expected and half dragged him and what was left of the food back to the clan so he could be nursed back to health.

This strange Wind clan full of vastly different personalities, all with their own quirks and opinions, somehow managing to work together in spite of many of them rarely agreeing on anything... it was intriguing. Even more so was the apparent dichotomy of Harbinger in her role of Huntmistress, and the playful and slightly goofy Harby that she was when she was allowed some free time. He realized in the couple of weeks it took for him to recover fully that he was quite smitten with her, and though it took him quite some doing to prove he could keep up with her, he finally managed to both win her over and find a place for himself in the clan as her second and claimed the title of Huntmaster.

Though now faced with far more responsibility early in his young life than he would have expected, he enjoys his new role, and the time spent goofing off with Harby. While a little more openly easy-going than his older mate, he's just as quick to snap someone back in line if they're being disruptive to the clan's gathering efforts or potentially being danger to themselves or others. Between that and his decision to adopt a mode of dress similar to Harbinger he's earned himself a nickname of 'Green Skull Demon' to match hers, as well.
