Lavender Essence is her full name, and to those who do not know her, she may appear to never have dealt with troubles in her past. Essence was actually bullied when she was younger by pearlcatchers just because she's an imperial and there had been some tension between their groups over the lightweaver's favoritism. While they had not personally disliked her, there was surely bitterness because she was different than them. Essence's mother told her the best response was to forgive those who had wronged her and pratice compassion. Essence took her mother's advice, and instead of being bitter of afraid of her identity, she responded in love and compassion. She learned that kindness is much more effective than bitterness. Essence has continued to show love and friendship to dragons who may not feel worthy of it. She has helped resolve several conflicts simply by getting both sides to share their feelings and come to a comprimise. She understands that anyone who is upset usually has a good reason at least in their mind, and that must be understood before peace can be made. She makes an excellent counselour and friend. (Hmmm she sounds a little too perfect. lets include some things that she's not the best at...) While Essence has better peace of mind and relationships than most, she has not found a job that fits well for her. She has tried doing many things to help out, but one way or another she's messed up. She certainly has a way with words, but she does not have a way with her limbs and she's pretty clumsy. This wouldn't matter as much if she was the size of a fae, but she is an imperial. so yeah. Her current attempts include making apparel. She mostly makes scarves and simple things, but even those can end up shaped like Thneeds sometimes.
