Stiles works for the city, but he is rarely in it. His job is to check the water level of Square Toe Lake, perform maintenance and repairs on the pumps and pipes, keep an eye on the fish population, and make sure Andrew and Symmes don't harvest more than they should. Basically, all the parts of Spike's job that involve actually getting near water.

Since recreational swimming in the lake is strictly forbidden, Stiles relishes his job. He is one of the chosen few who get to paddle and dive in the clan's water supply, in fact, to paddle and dive at all. Not to say that he doesn't take his job seriously - he knows exactly how important it is. But where's the harm in enoying himself at the same time?

There is little to no resentment between Stiles and his notoriously hydrophobic boss. If she were willing to get close to the water it's theoretically her job to tend, then Stiles wouldn't have to and he'd be out of a job! Not that it can't be a little annoying to work for someone whose knowledge of what he actually does is lacking at worst and theoretical at best. 		olHEvfb.png

Stiles and Amelia are friends of a sort. Her forge is the perfect place for him to dry off, she likes to complain and he doesn't mind listening, and when she gets fed up and throws her hammer it's always slow enough for him to dodge. 		olHEvfb.png

Even though only one is a Water dragon, Stiles and Cherry bonded over their mutual love of the wet stuff. Cherry is admittedly a little jealous of his job, and the two of them have been planning a trip to the Tsunami Flats. It may or may not materialize, but the daydreaming is a lot of fun. 		olHEvfb.png
