Biography
HÄRMÄ

|| the mercenary leader ||
cold | perfectionist | stern | understanding
"Everything is show and tell and things are played off somewhat well" When job needs to be done and quickly, then Härmä is the first recommendation to go – and if she can’t do it, then she knows someone else for the job instead. She’s known in the dynasty as a mercenary leader, invited there by her old friend and the first empress, KUUNVAARA. During her short time there, Härmä has gained quite a reputation as a stoic and emotionless leader with zero sense of humor and in all honesty, she carries the same reputation among her own mercenaries. The gaoler takes a lot of pride on what she had built from nothing, as Shade and it’s creatures destroyed the sentinel’s own prison left Härmä without a meaning or a place to go. A few jobs taken from the outsiders got her into the realization – why not to use skills in something useful, that could earn her something including some sense of purpose? From the inside, Härmä isn’t nearly as stoic as she gives out – she just decides to not let her personal emotions interfere her work or relationship with her mercenaries. Or, with any sort of a relationship, with anyone. She sees her own emotions as a weakness, hindering her ability to think clearly and do her job right. Härmä’s anger is something to be afraid of – none of her guys wants to be the target of her annoyance and usually only a silent, judging look serves well enough for them to quit whatever nonsense they were up to. Most of the all, PIMENTO and his goofy nature brings him more often than not on the line of fire. It wouldn’t be the first time for him to provoke others to play soccer indoors or similar stunts – which Härmä disapproves and strongly. She doesn’t want to be always yelling at Pimento – they both know it. It just ends happening anyways. Though it might seem so, she rarely yells without a reason – when someone of her own messes up, it’s received rather with empathy and thoughts how to solve the situation in the most clean way instead of starting a screaming match. Härmä knows mistakes happen, her whole prison was ruined by one fatal mistake, and she sees no reason to blame anyone of one screw up here and there. It happens to the best of us. Usually the sentinel’s empathy is well hidden from others, but it exists behind the cold and polite mask. In the case someone does more mistakes than usual, she rather solves the issue behind the failures than accuses anyone without a reason. Perhaps the reason lies in herself – as Härmä takes every single personal failure heavily, her perfectionist nature has hard time dealing with mistakes. Minor things can be shrugged off, but any bigger issue caused by her and it is guaranteed she won’t see a good day in a while. - MORE COMING - dividers and shields are made by osiem sidebar made by skyarising, found here |
