Cytidine is quite the odd fellow; the silly Bogsneak enjoys playing with his mother’s equipment, set on creating something new as if it was really that simple. He’s not exactly the best with his borrowed equipment, but he has enough intelligence to at least not kill himself on accident, even if he has had some run-ins with explosive chemicals. He means well. He knows the importance of being careful with his mother’s chemicals, but he can’t help but mix two he knows don’t belong together every once in awhile…
When not messing with items he shouldn’t, Cytidine can be found outdoors. He enjoys experimenting with natural materials just as much as synthetic ones; maybe even more, in the right conditions. Plants have always struck his fancy, considering he was born with the Nature element. He greatly appreciates nature’s ability to both heal and destroy, but prefers to heal, just like his mother. If he managed to avoid accidentally killing all of them with a failed “experiment,” Cytidine is quite good at taking care of his own plants for his own “experiments.”
Unfortunately, this dangerous lifestyle leads to quite few friends. Cytidine tends to be a loner. Who knew a reputation for science disasters drove dragons away? On top of this, he tends to pretend like he knows exactly what to do in the laboratory, bringing him a reputation of incorrectness and arrogance. At least when he’s talking about plants he has a general idea of what he’s doing. Chemicals? Not so much.
When in the care of his mother, he’s much more well-behaved than usual- The presence of the older Bogsneak seems to keep him in check. He regards her as a role model of sorts, more or less a goal of what to become. Her abilities with chemicals are beyond his current capabilities and will be for a long time, but he doesn’t let that stop him from aspiring to work beside her instead of below her. Cytidine tries his best when his mother allows him into the lab, which is a rare occurrence.
