Personality: Coran was known as the sharp-tongued and brilliant head of the Time Flight, and the hardest to get along with of the Four. He was incredibly competent and organized, making notes of every event that happened as well as contingency plans for every outcome. He also facilitated the creation of the original Gilded Hall and was a key factor in the development of the clan's technology. Despite this, he was often disliked due to his personality. He was rather blunt with his words, and could come off as condescending. To those he held in high esteem, however, he was an invaluable and loyal ally. Even though he was hard to get along with, he was well respected by his fellow disciples of Time and the other flights for being incredibly hard working. Besides managing historical records, he was also the one in charge of most of the clan's logistics. It was often joked that the only reason he hadn't been voted out of being the leader of the Time Flight was the fact that he was the only one holding everything together. He was not a fan of politics for the most part; when conflicts arose, he would usually remain a neutral party. History: Coran was born to a small clan in the Ashfall Waste. Supposedly he had a dream when he came of age that lead him to travel to what would eventually become the Shattered Plain. There, he established the Godless Flight of Time and settled down to begin his collection of records. Unfortunately, the Godless Wars began, forcing them to defend their territory against the other flights. The Time Flight never intentionally attacked another flight, choosing instead to remain in a position of armed neutrality. When the wars ended, Coran was officially chosen as the Time Flight's leader and representitive in the Clan of the Four. When the Abyss appeared, Coran was the first one to consider Malik's proposal of using it as a resource. However, he quickly became aware that the Abyss was not what it seemed, and began compiling information on it. Later, when the Shattered War broke out, Coran took it upon himself to manage counterintelligence efforts, and was one of the key reasons that the Abyss was able to be sealed so quickly after the war (the other reason being the recovered research done by the Madness Flight). He would go on to further develop the Gilded Hall, and would later find a kindred spirit in a fae named Kumobi, to whom he passed down the title of Golden Sage.
