Nova

Despite clan Alys being located in the Starfall Isles, very few of the dragons in the clan had anything more of a passing interest in Astronomy. Nova is the exception to this rule. She is always looking to the sky, trying to learn as much as she can about what lies there. Her fervor to learn more about what lies beyond Sornieth drove the construction of a planetarium, an observatory, and several viewing pools too see the sky in.

Nova herself, when she can tear herself away from the sky, she is one of the best mediators in the entire clan. Somehow Nova can convince even the most stubborn of dragons to accept a compromise. Her talents are in demand across the clan, and she often is brought into mediate when she rather wouldn’t. Nova prefers to think about the stars and planets over the problems of others, but she never refuses people’s request for mediation, even if she’d rather stay out of the problem, or doesn’t feel comfortable hearing about the problem the dragons bring up. Nova only accepts the requests because she would feel terribly guilty to say no.

Nova runs a few seminars in Alys University about conflict resolution, but her big ticket classes are the Astronomy classes. With Xerces help, she’s even managed to run a field trip to a few colonized moons in other planes.

Nova has no life mate. She is waiting for what she refers to as ‘the right dragon’.
