He was born to a long line of dull feathered Coatls, an innocent born of sins. His father was self-centered, refusing to dirty his hands by dealing with children. His mother was too lazy to bother herself in caring for her only child. So, to be rid of him, he was tossed into the waters of the Sea of a Thousand Currents.
He was washed ashore the Tsunami Flats, where he was immediately taken in by a small blue Fae, naming him Angelon because "he looked like an angel sent from the bluest of skies". He spent the rest of his childhood being doted on by the older members of the, at the time, very young clan.
Despite not being around any other Coatls, he still developed a wish for brighter plumage. He began wearing bright clothing to make up for it. Because he frequently checks the apparel stores, he was given the official job of managing and organizing the clothing.
He did, admittedly, have problems when another Coatl joined the clan. She was very untrusting of him, and shunned him at first. He was hurt, and didn't understand what was wrong. She eventually opened up, after the arrival of her would-be mate, who is also rather dull plumed.

Angelon tends to be open and loving towards most people he meets. The only exception is that he gets a bit wary of anyone who resembles his mother or father; he does this subconsciously, as he doesn't actually remember is real parents all that well. He's a bit childish and naive, which can get him into trouble. He adores anything colorful and/or sweet.
