Lunar is one of the queen's most trusted friends and the two have known one another since they were hatchlings. They grew up side by side- Quetzal being the princess and Lunar being the daughter of the leader of the imperial army. Over the years, watching the young queen grow into her role, Lunar developed romantic feelings for Quetzal. These feelings are, of course, one sided and kept secret, but Lunar has yet to take a mate because of them.

As far as personality goes, Lunar is typically quite stoic and duty motivated. Many find her intimidating due to her prowess in battle and her quiet nature. She is, however, quite easily flustered- especially when complimented by a pretty girl.
