More scar tissue than blood-red scale, more torn wing than whole. She looks tattered and sharp, from the razor-sharp claw extensions she wears into battle to the torn robe decorated with the skull of her most loathed enemy defeated; the crowned roc.

Hiri watched a harpy kill her adopted sister Lemony, back when Hiri was a humble hatchling living with her humble small family down on the steppes. It chose to kill Lemony and not Hiri, for seemingly no reason. Since then, birds of all shapes and sizes have been Hiri's deepest fear. To Hiri, to defeat your fear you must defeat what it is you fear, and that is why she fights so fiercely in the war against the harpies.
