DIVIDE AND CONQUER

A hatchling was once hatched with two souls. One soul was drawn to the shadows, playing pranks and stealing valuable objects, only if the victims truly deserved it. The other loved to help dragons, and that soul developed magic that was strong enough to bring good fortune to any Clan who asked for it.

This was all well and good, but the two souls shared one body, which made it hard for them to express themselves fully. One could never tell which one would have control of the physical body that day: the bad or the good? The times where both souls would have equal control were innumerable, and the physical body struggled greatly to handle this burden.

The souls agreed, after a particularly long day where there had been a long bodily argument, that they would both strengthen their magical powers to separate themselves into two bodies. Thus began the long years of training, where they learned to work almost in sync with one another to control their one body.

When the day finally arrived, the two souls wondered whether it was even worth it to risk their strength in splitting. They had been through much to reach this point, but had learned to cooperate more or less. In the end, there was an argument, and it was agreed they would have to split in order to survive.

Ravenna is the prankster. The raven has always had negative rumors tied onto its tail feathers, and Ravenna carries these with pride. While her other half, Rowanna, sows the seeds of goodness, she plucks away the valuable treasures of dragons who need her justice, including lives. She resides in a dark swamp, and her Swamphaunt Kelpie guards her area, occasionally bringing back choice victims for their dinner.
