Dorian

Occupation:
CouncilMember

About:

A small Skydancer with brilliant red accentuation. He dresses lavishly and is never not in full-body robes. Moves gracefully, but there's a hint of a warrior's gait.

Dorian is a quiet, observant personality, preferring to remain silent and take notes. He can even be a bit sly, but despite his ominous appearance, he isn't as particularly inclined on making others suffer. Rather, he tends to focus on his work quietly, hardly ambitious but working hard to continue improving Mint City. He can make friendly chatter easily, and has a calm attitude towards just about anything. Very methodological, to the point where differences in his daily schedule unnerve him.

History:

Born in the Wastelands, Dorian was raised to be a warrior. But he was never much of a fighter. Too inherently weak and small, and not very interested in it anyway. He was trained regardless, taught all the ways to kill, taught the ways of many weapons, taught the ways of magic. But on his own time, Dorian simply holed up in his little room, wrote down notes of what he learned, what he observed. As he grew, Dorian came to realize his quietness allowed the fighters around him let their guards down, and speak of things they would keep private. After all, what danger could the runt Skydancer pose?

Incredible danger, apparently.

Dorian took notes of everything. And at some point, decided he'd rather find his calling elsewhere. So he put his notes to use, blackmailing his fellow dragons into giving him supplies for the journey, or using what he'd learned to keep them quiet about his departure. And so he left after unraveling all the little truths, leaving the clan behind in chaos.

Dorian came across Mint City during his travels. Initially, he was dazzled by the glamorous city. And then, he was dazzled by the many opportunities he had there. He managed to convince a political figure to take him apprentice, learning the trade and applying what he'd learned. Eventually, he rose to position of council.

Tolmoor the Crooked Hatchet
Tolmoor is a weapon Dorian blackmailed from his previous clan's armory, as a means to defend himself on his journey. Tolmoor is a finicky hatchet, wriggling wildly if held wrong. Dorian learned Tolmoor's preferences on his journey, and is quite adept with him now. Sometimes makes snide comments should Dorian be insulted.
