Biography

"Nests are lost every day. From clan to clan, tribe to tribe, and species to species... but that doesn't mean they cannot be rebuilt. I'll mourn, and I'll seethe for vengeance for my clan... But I will not stay in the past. I accept your offer. I will enter your clan and take your oath, Rockfang."

Wise and surprisingly blunt, Frostbite is an Imperial who has never met a challenge she can't beat, or a puzzle she cannot solve. With Icewing, she has faced much danger and loss, but she still stands strong and resolute within the storm.

Having saved the wandering pair of Guardians Rockfang and Tanis in her youth, Frostbite is a strong and respected leader, and still retains her air of dignity and grace despite her new clan and diminished role. Though she still mourns for what she lost underneath the Plague dragon attack that robbed her and Icewing of their old home and family, she is eager to have a new start and to make the best of the dour circumstances.

Though more mature than her peers, Frostbite remains gentle with her mate and friends, and is a sister to Tanis despite their different breeds and background. She is determined to keep her new home and clan safe, though she, and her new clanmates, have all sworn an oath to remain ready to help any dragon that may find themselves in dire straits.

With her mate, Icewing, Frostbite has taken up the duties of lieutenants in the Frozen Stone clan, and also has accepted the responsibility of the occasional trip across the continent in search of hatchlings who are in need of a clan to protect and shelter them. Her strong maternal instincts make it difficult for her to turn away any young'un in need, but she is almost always more preoccupied with keeping her mate's wanderlust in check.

It was Frostbite who saw the wisdom in convincing the more well-travelled Warin to join the clan permanently after his dangerous brush with the elements, and she was more than happy to nudge the wild Coatl in Jadis' direction despite Rockfang's reservations. Her instincts served her well as the two Coatls became fast friends, and then loyal mates, and she has more than earned her place as the voice of reason and wisdom within the clan.
