Empire of Death: Clan of Death
BBsf5kS.png
Blink came to the Clan of Death already adept at killing. His training came from both experience and his parents. From his father he learned how to be a skilled assassin and from his mother how to use criminal tactics and manipulation. Many of his siblings didn't have it in them to follow in their family's footsteps, some even preferred to serve a deity or died trying. Many lived in comfortable lifestyles, which Blink looked down upon. Why would they want a pampered lifestyle? It was too easy! Still, unlike those siblings he has other older brothers and sisters in various clans that he looks up to in some shape or form.

His brother Thesis for one is the tech dragon in the family. Blink has learned about cybernetic implants some dragons have to aid them in various functions that range from enhancements to actually allowing dragons to survive and be useful in their clans. While he has considered using them he has decided not to go overboard as some assassins have. After all, they are easy to break and turn against the user in some cases through false signals and information.

His sister Lilith, while not a killer, still gave him something to learn from. He has learned that god complexes are not the best to have, especially when your mission can depend on not getting too cocky. Still, Blink knows listening and language is an important part to dragon kind and has studied scribes like his sister to learn the different languages around Sornieth. They might not kill an enemy but words can aid him in learning the culture of a dragon, which also means he can guess their habits. Not to mention the obvious ability to write a message to his targets that can stir up trouble to get them killed or to lure them away to kill them himself.

His other sister Gloria taught him what justice is. Blink knew that he would need to learn his enemy to assure he wouldn't be caught by them. While his sister was neutral when serving out justice he never trusted her enough not to bring justice down on him. Justice wasn't what Blink served out. He was an assassin and while dragons could hire him to dish out justice and karma rarely was it ever true justice. Not that it mattered. He just wanted to earn treasure and gems no matter how dirty he had to get his claws in the process. Leave true justice to wrong doings to dragons who actually had a good heart for it.

Then there was his other brother Cirru. He was fond of Cirru but not sentimental over his family member any more than he was of the others. Blink only cared about his brother because of his criminal life. It wasn't as bloody as his but Blink still learned how to fight and sneak around through his older brother. Being a thief wasn't the ideal criminal life he wanted but being able to sneak around and steal was a good skill to have. One didn't always have the best weapon for the job and stealing was an easy way to get what he needed for a job. However, most dragons couldn't catch him anyway... most of the things Blink possessed were trophies taken from his victims as an additional reward to his payment.

While assassins don't typically have allies or friends, Blink would admit his closest to either of those would be a mirror assassin in the Clan of Death by the name of Primeval. The two almost had what one could consider a friendly rivalry over the amount of victims they kill or how often one was hired over the other when the mirror was still alive. Of course, Blink was only losing because the mirror has been around longer... he soon change that with his abilities. He was becoming an assassin famous in the black markets and underworld of Sornieth to get the job done.
