The Wind Dragons of the Windswept Plateau are explorers. They prefer to be joyful and care-free, like the gentle and playful breezes that whisk them to new lands. Of all the dragons, Wind Dragons are the most friendly, eager to become a small part of every community they encounter before they eventually and inevitably leave, following the currents in pursuit of a new adventure. Maps, compasses, and feathers are their favored treasure.
The peaceful Pearlcatcher species hails from the Sunbeam Ruins. Lovers of gossip, they collect a huge knowledge of other breeds flaws and virtues. After hatching, newborns consume their eggshells and regurgitate a lustrous pearl, which they add to by secreting a black mucus. To these dragons, pearls represent the dragon’s experience and memory, making the loss of the pearl equal to a loss of identity. In battle, they are cowardly, offering gossip in exchange for safety or attacking with magic from afar.*
