 Okeanos came into Rarity's clan much like a wave crashing onto shore. All at once, he arrived, young and desperate, hoping to steal food and any valuables he could find. Instead of fighting him, which Rarity knew would be a fight she couldn't win, she decided to offer him a place to stay in her clan. Okeanos resisted at first, but knew that staying here would be his best opportunity to have a steady source of food and shelter.

As he grew, he became an essential part of the clan. A warrior, as well as a trainer for any hopeful warriors in the clan alongside Iris. Despite this, he hadn't quite made that many emotional connections, barely anyone knew anything about him besides his name. This didn't bother him all that much. After all, he'd spent most of his youth wondering around alone. The solitude was almost a comfort to him. His distance caused a rift between him and those he trained, and they all became very close to Isis instead.

The only trainee that didn't immediately gravitate towards Isis was a standoffish Coatl named Heuchera.
