Kivas is a humble Trader who travels within the neighboring lairs searching for the goods that his fellow Weyr members are seeking. He spends a great deal of time looking for particular items and excels at finding quality materials. His talents range from art to foods to feathers and jewels - even musical instruments. Often he seeks out unusual gems or feathers for the others to craft into completed jewelry or decorations. He has a reputation for honesty, even though he is a member of a trickster Shadow weyr.

Quinto recently had a litter of cubs, who love climbing all over Kivas. Each litter she has seems to love him.

Kivas came to this weyr when he was nine hours old. He settled in with Trillium easily and they, together with Zingara, will form a trio of traveling traders. They will work hard to make sure everyone in Moonlit Nyyt Weyr has what they need.

Copper is another of their favorite items. They also like to find homes for the excess familiars that the weyr gathers or finds in the coliseum.
