This crab is the one piece of seafood she's ever not had a taste for, and that fascinates her.


Malachite was sitting at the edge of the pond, watching the other dragons play in the water and search for seafood. Her eyes fell on Ametrine playing alone with her otter, and she got an idea. She flew closer to the cave, looking for Sandstorm's pond where he kept the pet fish where no one would eat them and easily broke the magical barrier someone had set around it. She conjured a glass basin big enough for two fish to swim side by side and grabbed the two toughest, most unappetizing koi from the pond. She hefted the fish into the basin by their gills and flinched as the water splashed back at her. Malachite then reset the barrier and carried the tank over to the swimming hole.
"Hey, Ametrine! Come here a second!" she called, waving her arms and wings and tail.
Ametrine looked up at her name, but reluctantly, then took her time swimming to the shore with her otter.
"Look! Let's be fish pals and take care of these fish together!"
Ametrine cocked her head to one side. "You'll swim with them?"
Malachite's smile twitched. "Um..."
"When you have an aquatic pet, you have to make sure they get their exercise."
