From the neighboring Wandering Contagion did this vagabond arrive from, donning heavy and dark clothes- covering all but his visibly marred wings. Ambroise is an alchemist, and one who claims to be a doctor. Many are skeptical of his claim, but others still buy his remedies...

With a small hovel nestled to the side of the marketplace, he sells his elixirs and tinctures, as well as scrolls and books of all sorts; from novels to references and encyclopedias, and even has a small selection of odd trinkets. He rarely gets business, but this can be attributed to his absence at his own shop. Only around once a week does he manage to make time to sell his stock.

Much of his time is spent venturing out into the wilds, oft returning to the Abiding Boneyard for materials. When he arrives home, Ambroise spends hours brewing concoctions of varying effects, carefully measuring out each ingredient to not waste them. The stock he cannot sell at Astéri Lune, he'll trek to other marketplaces to set up temporary shop.

Despite all of his traveling, he seems to avoid the Wandering Contagion 'like the plague' as they say. Clanmates speculate the reason for this, perhaps he was banned for selling snake oil? Or does it have anything to do with the burn marks across his body? Fledglings wonder if it was caused by an alchemy incident, but the adults quickly hush them. Considering Ambroise's silence on the topic, there must've been a grievous incident.

Ambroise is a social, very eccentric man. Almost all of what he says is unusual and rather macabre at times. Even when selling his elixirs, he adds on that its best to buy them now before its 'too late'. Naive dragons see it as a limited time deal, but others know it to have foreboding context. (Ambroise himself would not cause any incidents, of course.) He doesn't spend much time with others, though for some reason Julien seems drawn to him. Julien is unable to elucidate on why, being truly puzzled by his own intrigue with Ambroise. At the very least, they appear to be good friends.
