Castor

Castor has inherited his father's ability to see the auras of other dragons. Spending his first few sunrises with his father, Castor has learnt how to differentiate between them, in order to make his way in the world. The darker the aura, the sadder the Dragon that bears it. If an aura is pitch black, the Dragon who bears it is evil of heart and unsound of mind. Brighter hearted dragons are cheerful, of sound mind, and have good intentions and hearts. Castor was told to surround himself with the brighter auras, help the duller auras become brighter again through companionship, and avoid the pitch black auras of dragons who'd seek to use his power to corrupt others.

Before sending him out into the world, Castor's father gave him his pearl. It would help him channel his abilities, and would point him in the right direction if he wanted to visit home again. He was also told that if he met a Dragon who's aura glowed so bright it was dazzling, chances are that Dragon was to be his soul mate. That is how his parents met after all.

Castor is a compassionate and sympathetic soul who believes in seeing the good in all Dragons. He is a little naive though, and sometimes his overconfidence trips him up when he tried to help brighten auras. Castor benefits from a kind hand and a steady stream of wisdom, and enjoys watching wildlife in his spare time.
