Dinas used to be a wanderer. A long time ago, he lived near the Wyrmwound, where he dutifully served the Plaguebringer. During his days toiling over the cauldron of disease, he tripped on a skull. He landed in the Wyrmwound. This unfortunate accident cost him his arm and left his chest and stomach burned and scarred. His carapace arm covers these wounds and hides his missing appendage. The Plaguebringer, not wanting weak dragons serving directly under her, banished Dinas to the Contagion, on the outskirts of her territory.

Exiled, he soared over the Plaguelands, and spotted a small group of ragtag dragons making their way through the Wandering Contagion. He landed nearby, and asked them what their business was. They were wary of this outsider at first, but eventually accepted him as part of their clan. He soon rose to the top of their ranks and now leads them, hoping to make his way back to the Wyrmwound with his new mate Styx in tow.
